Anna Bell, 93, Marshfield, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Bethel Center, Arpin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville, with Rev. Sebastian Venni officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held from 8:00 am on Saturday until the time of service at Corpus Christi Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Anna was born on August 7, 1920 in Rib Lake, the daughter of Bernard and Anna (Klempka) Kuna and attended school in Rib Lake. She was united in marriage to Sylvester M. Bell on June 10, 1944 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Rib Lake. He died on March 13, 1990. Before her marriage, Anna was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory in Marshfield. After their marriage the Bell's farmed in the Town of Lincoln until February of 1977. Anna also worked in the kitchen at the Knights of Columbus Hall with her sisters-in-law, Arlene Zahn and Anita Schirpke. She liked to take bus trips to the casinos and enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She looked forward to the annual family reunion held on her birthday weekend. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers and the Lady Knights of the Knights of Columbus. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Connie) Bell of St. Nazianz, Carol (Jim) Berdan of Auburndale, and David Bell of Marshfield. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, Ann Marie (Michael) Paul of Eau Claire, Mike (Joann) Berdan of Stratford, Stephanie (Mark) Epping and their children, Cora and Caleb of Appleton, Jessica Bell & Eric Northrup and their daughter, Lena of Cottage Grove, Christine (Jason) Wagner and their daughter, Autumn of Madison. She is further survived by a sister, Mary Eberhardy of Owen and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sylvester, brothers, Joseph and Steven Kuna, sisters, Helen Tehako and Susan Bieniek, brothers-in-law, Frank Tehako, Ray Zahn and Art Schirpke and sisters-in-law, Arlene Zahn and Anita Schirpke. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at Bethel Center for their kind and loving care. In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated in her name to the Marshfield Clinic.
