Obituary

Ann Werner, 102 of Stevens Point died on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Stevens Point Care Center in the Village of Whiting. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City with Rev. Doug Schalow officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitations will be from 10am Thursday at the Martens/Rembs Funeral Home until time of service. Ann was born on January 2, 1910 in Kingston, PA to Dominic and Anna Saveika. She was raised in Mosinee and Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Fred Werner on June 6, 1931 in Milwaukee. He died in 1984. Ann worked in a factory until she started farming with her husband. She enjoyed quilting, baking and spending time with family and friends. Ann is survived by her daughter Audrey (Donald) Olds of Junction City; 8 grandchildren, Robert (Sue) Olds, James (Robin) Olds, Donald (Cindy) Olds, David (Cathy) Olds, Daniel (Ronelle) Olds, Sherry (Tom) Mitachek, Gretchen Werner, Debbie Werner and 21 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by one sister Helen Werner of Arkansas and two brothers Al Baron of Washington and Stanley Baron of Florida. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son William Werner, grandson Doug Werner, one sister and three brothers. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
