Ann H. Weigel, 67 of Marshfield died on Friday, January 29, 2016, surrounded by her family at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Memorial services will be 11 am Friday, February 5, 2016, at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Gisele Berninghaus officiating. Maldon Plank, along with congregational singing, will provide the music.
Family will receive relatives and friends from 10 am Friday until time of services at the church.
Ann was born on January 4, 1949, in Marshfield to the late Lee and June (Beseler) Weisenberger. She was a 1967 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. On February 22, 1969, she was united in marriage to John N. Weigel at Faith Lutheran Church.
She was a homemaker after her marriage until 1995 when she became a teacher's aide and worked with special needs students in the Marshfield School system. Ann enjoyed her floral gardens, weeding, crafts and taking care of her dogs Sammi and Fuzz.
Ann is survived by her husband John, children Heidi (Jeremy Watson) Swenson of Baraboo, Scott (Sherry) Weigel, Chris (Sharon) Weigel, Curt (Jannelle) Weigel and Cory Weigel, all of Marshfield; seven grandchildren, Felicity, Kaden, Aaron, Soren, Alex, Sophie and Jaxson. She is further survived by a brother Thomas (Sharon) Weisenberger of Pardeeville and a sister Nancy (Elmer) Martens of King, brother-in-law Charles (Brad) Weigel of Marshfield and a sister-in-law Joyce Luchterhand of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law Malcolm Rudin and Tom Luchterhand, and niece Rebecca Weisenberger.
