Ann Bearman Maggitti, 78, of Marshfield, WI passed away peacefully at Colonial Center in Colby, Wis., on Monday, April 29, 2013. Ann was born in London, England, on Dec. 1, 1934, the daughter of Olive A. (nee Filby) Bearman and Stanley E. Bearman. Ann grew up in Chelmsford, England, during WWII. Ann met and married Vincent Tony Maggitti during his service in the U.S. Air Force while he was stationed at RAF Wethersfield in Essex, England. Ann immigrated to America with infant son Paul at the end of Vince's military service in 1954. The Maggittis settled in Baltimore, Md., later buying a home in Randallstown, where Ann and Vince lived until retiring to York, Penn., in 1996. Ann worked at Baltimore County General Hospital for over 25 years, retiring as an administration supervisor in the Radiology Department. Following retirement, Ann and Vince enjoyed traveling, visiting Ann's relatives in England, taking ocean cruises with friends, and visiting their sons. Ann moved to Helena, Montana in 2002 and to Marshfield in 2006 to remain close to family. Ann is survived by son Paul Maggitti (Nancy Gertner) of Saint Louis Park, MN; daughter Anita (David) Schreibman of Maryland; son John Maggitti of Marshfield, and four grandsons. Ann will be interred next to her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and husband Vincent Tony Maggitti.
