Andrea E. Nowaczyk, age 76, of Phillips (formerly Marshfield), passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday, July 8th, 2024, at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, with visitation from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. A private burial service will be held later at Brooklawn Cemetery, Marshfield.

Andrea was born October 21, 1947, in Marshfield to Eugene and Jane (Sholund) Fohrman. She attended Marshfield Senior High School and graduated in 1965. On December 6, 1969, she married James H. Nowaczyk at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church. Andrea graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1984 and dedicated over 30 years of her life as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, serving both the Marshfield and Phillips communities with care and compassion.

She cherished her family, friends, and the serenity of her home and cottage. Andrea found joy in crochet, reading, coloring, playing piano, and cherished family gatherings and outings with friends. She delighted in road trips across northern Wisconsin and had a passion for travel. Andrea was involved with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and treasured her friendships, particularly with Amy Kumarapera and George Peroutka.

She is survived by her children Gregory (Jessica) Nowaczyk of Arpin, WI, and Jayme (Jessica) Nowaczyk of Marshfield, WI; grandchildren Trevor, Nash, Tylan, Cayda, Audra, and Amara; great-grandchildren Alexandra and Huntyr; her brother Craig (Vicki) Fohrman of Floral City, FL; and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Jane Fohrman, and her husband, James Nowaczyk.

The family extends sincere gratitude to the staff of House of the Dove for their dedication to excellence and compassionate care during Andrea's final days.
