Obituary

Amy Sue Roggenbauer (Seehafer), 53, formerly of Marshfield, peacefully passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.

A funeral service for Amy is scheduled for 11am Saturday, April 13th at Rembs Funeral Home with visitation for family and friends from 10am until the service time at the funeral home. Committal will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Amy was born December 22, 1970, in Marshfield Wisconsin. She attended Marshfield High School and went on to earn an Accounting Degree at Mid-State Technical College.

A few different places where Amy worked in Marshfield that are notable were The Patio Restaurant, Ram Rod, Domino's, Johnson Garment, and she spent many years with B&K Builders. Many would agree that she was enjoyable to work with as she was fun and had a loud personality. When she was a young adult, she did enjoy bowling with her friends on a bowling team. They nicknamed her Sassy Sue, as she had a sassy personality.

Amy married Donald Rottscheit and they had two sons, Ryan and Joshua. They were later divorced. Her second husband was Robert Roggenbauer. They were married for 19 years and also had two children, Amber and Anthony. During their time together they loved chasing concerts, bingo nights, and their Vegas trips. They later divorced but many, especially Robert, could agree that they were soul mates.

Amy loved having a house full of family and friends. When the kids were younger it was all of her nieces and nephews and then all of her children's friends as they grew up. It was a house where friends were in and out. It was the best chaos around! Amy loved camping with her family and friends more than anything. She took many long extended camping trips to Warrens JellyStone Park. There was lots of swimming, mini golf, golf cart rides, laughing and having a good time around the firepit. She also absolutely loved her permanent camping spot in Holcomb WI, where a lot of family members would get together for the 4th of July.

Amy loved being a mom! Her children were her pride and joy. Growing up they loved playing games. You would often find Amy and her family on the couch playing Mario together or at the table playing a board game. As her kids grew older you would find her hanging out with her sons and their friends enjoying things like playing cards and poker. She was super competitive in everything she did, especially when it came to playing bean bag toss- she did not like to lose! Amy always made it a point to enjoy and be involved in all aspects of her family's life. Her love language was gift giving and she would go all out for every single holiday or family function. It would make you feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Amy also loved dogs and had one - or two - by her side most of her life and passed this love onto her children.

Amy is survived by her children: Ryan Rottscheit, Marshfield, Joshua (Janel) Rottscheit, Marshfield, Amber Roggenbauer (Lance Martin), Pittsville, Anthony Roggenbauer (Natasha Varese), Marshfield. She has three grandsons: Kaden Rottscheit, and Mason and Will Rottscheit. Amy came from a big family so she also has many nieces and nephews, one great nephew and another one due in June, and a very soon-to-be-born great niece.

Amy is further survived by her siblings: Kathy Seehafer, Marshfield, Ken (Kathy) Seehafer, River Falls, Gary (Brenda) Seehafer, Jackson TN, Dan Seehafer, Stratford, Dean Seehafer, Greendale, and Steve (Dasie) Seehafer, Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Anne Seehafer.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Pha and Rose of REM-Promise House in Wausau WI for their loving care.

Additionally, they would like to give thanks to UW Madison Hospital, especially her transplant team.

If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
