Alice Lucille Zajackowski, 85, Milladore, died on Saturday, June 4, 2016, surrounded by her family in prayer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 10, 2016 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Junction City, with Rev. John Ofori-Domah and Rev. Lyle Schulte officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm on Thursday at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City, and from 10:00 am on Friday until service time at St. Michael's Catholic Church. A parish rosary will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Alice was born on August 24, 1930 in the Town of Norrie, Marathon County, to Frank and Martha (Stoltz) Szews. She was united in marriage to Florian J. "Larry" Zajackowski on May 29, 1954 at St. Florian's Catholic Church, Hatley. He died on October 15, 2011. Alice's love of faith and family was demonstrated throughout her life as a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She served as president of the Altar Society and as a religious education instructor. Alice was a dedicated farm wife and loving mother. She loved baking, gardening, flowers and music and always enjoyed get-togethers with family, friends and neighbors. Her door and dinner table were always open to anyone. Always asking "Did you eat yet?" She is survived by her children, Mark Zajackowski of Milladore, Tom (Sue) Zajackowski of Amherst, Mike Ziolkowski (son-in-law) of Plover, Maria Flory of Nevada, Joselle Bertram of Texas, Jerome (Karen) Zajackowski of Washington, Paul (Dionne) Zajackowski of Lyndon Station, Ann (Jeff) Haasl of Milladore and Juliann Zajackowski (Scott) of Milladore. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jonathon, Timothy, Allison, Lisa, Bryan, Casey, Kimberly, Joseph, Lydia, Ashley, John and Brionna, 3 great grandchildren, Oliver, Austin and Aria and 2 expected. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Monica Ziolkowski, a sister, Cecilia, and bothers, Chester, Leonard, Norbert and Eugene.
