Alice M. Suplicke, 91, Marshfield, died on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Golden Living Center Three Oaks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Bo Blenker, Patrick Suplicki, Payne Freske Gary Konop, LeRoy Konop and Ken Ireland.Honorary pallbearer will be Jayme Blenker. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 am until service time at St. John's Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Alice was born on April 10, 1922 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Anton and Helen (Golla) Suplicke. She attended St. Peter's Parochial School and St. Joseph's Academy in Stevens Point. Alice worked for the Selective Service for 7 years in Portage County. She then went to Green Bay where she was employed at Adress-Ograph Company. She then moved to Marshfield where she worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and then worked as bookkeeper at Kelly Tire Service of which she became co-owner. Alice had a zest for life. She loved to travel, played an accordion, was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time at her cabin with family and friends. She enjoyed visits from all and always had a smile and a story. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by 6 nephews and 2 nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
