Alberta M. Burt, 79 of Marshfield died on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with Rev. Mark A. Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in the town of Richfield, Wood County. Visitations will be from 10am Monday until time of services at the Rembs Funeral Home. Alberta was born on June 16, 1934 in Marshfield to Adolph and Viola (Seefeldt) Wein. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1952. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Burt at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield and sadly he died on January 1, 1984. She was a homemaker for most of her life until the passing of her husband. She then worked at various businesses throughout Marshfield and most recently at the Target Store. She had a love for music and also gave accordion lessons to several students in Marshfield. Alberta sang in the First Presbyterian Church Choir. She was a current member of Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Alberta is survived by her children, Larry (Judy) Burt of Marshfield, Sandra Burt of Fayetteville, NC, Susan (James) Hill of Shakopee, MN and Richard (Debra) Burt of Dover, FL; six grandchildren, Brandon, Kelly, Matthew and David Burt and Arin and Allyssa Hill. She is further survived by two brothers Norman (Sharon) Wein of Wisconsin Rapids and Orville Wein of Marshfield, and her sister Beatrice Kleinschmidt of Wausau.
