Alan Leo Meyer, age 85, of Marshfield, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, February 5th, 2018, at Three Oaks in Marshfield. Alan was born January 25, 1933, the son of Leo and Veronica (Kilburn) Meyer of Loyal. Alan was a 1951 graduate of Loyal High School. He followed in his family's footsteps, operating Meyer's Dry Cleaning and Toggery in Loyal, together with his brother-in-law, Milton Knack. He later established a dry cleaning business in Marshfield. Alan is survived by his daughters Jeanine Parkerson and Jennifer (Steve) Jacobson, his sister Joan (Milton) Knack, nieces Kristine (Ed) Noeldner, Barbara Knack, and nephew David Knack and their families. Alan was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Veronica, his niece Karen Knack, and a son-in-law John (Jennifer) Roberts. It was Alan's wish to have a private family service, which will be held at a future date. Memorials may be designated to the Marshfield Medical Foundation for Cancer Research.
