Agnes M. Morzinski, 98, Marshfield, died on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Wells Nature View Assisted Living. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield with Rev. Savarimuthu Selvaraj and Rev. James Logan officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Friday from 9:30 am until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A combined Sacred Heart Parish Council of Catholic Women and Knights of Columbus rosary service will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Agnes was born on March 7, 1915 in Milladore to Joseph and Mary (Lilly) Lang. She was a 1932 graduate of Lincoln High School, and a 1934 graduate of Wood County Teachers College, both in Wisconsin Rapids. She married John L. Morzinski on October 1, 1940 in Wisconsin Rapids. He died on July 12, 1998. Besides raising her family Agnes was involved in the family business, Jerrold's Clothing Store in Marshfield until its closing in 2004. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 65 years, a supporter of Columbus High School, and also volunteered at the Knights of Columbus club house. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Strack of Marshfield, and 5 sons, Jack Morzinski of Marshfield, Jerry (Cathy) of Los Alamos, NM, Joe (Sheri) of Bountiful, Utah, Jim (Kim) of Racine and Jeff (Maelynn) of Wauwatosa. She is further survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Memorials may be designated in her name to Sacred Heart Parish or Columbus Catholic High School.
