Agnes L. Kaiser, 80, Stratford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at House of the Dove, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Stratford, with Rev. Charles Hiebl officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery in the Town of Eau Pleine, Marathon County, and granddaughters will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday and from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday, ALL AT ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH. Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Agnes was born on January 9, 1938 in Marshfield, to Benno and Mary (Wittman) Stockheimer. She attended St. Andrew's Parochial School, Rozellville, and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and Wood County Normal School, Wisconsin Rapids. After her education she was a school teacher at St. Joseph's Parochial School in Stratford for 2 years until her marriage. She and Mark G. Kaiser were married on June 10, 1959 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville. After marriage, Agnes's classroom became her home, where she and Mark raised their 10 children. As they farmed, Agnes gardened and used her creativity to make everything a learning experience for their children. As time went, Agnes became involved in other organizations where her creativity was put to use. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Parish and volunteered countless hours to the parish, school, and PCCW. She became involved in Marathon County HCE where she served as both county and state representative. Agnes is survived by her husband, Mark, and their children and 24 grandchildren, Rose (Mark) Silveria, of Milwaukee and children, Josh, Jacob and Rebecca; Brian (Jean) Kaiser, of Marshfield and children, Michele, Lisa, Jennifer, and Luke; Susan (Gary) Punchard, of Reno, NV and children, Anthony and Steven; Jane (Mike) Brandt, of Stratford and children, Drew, Amanda, Alexandra, Mark, Steven and David; Pete (Laure) Kaiser, of Marshfield; Rita (Ryan) Hauke, of Stratford and children, Emily, Isabelle, Gracie and Eliza; Dan Kaiser, (Shannon) of Oshkosh; Mike (Trina) Kaiser of Stratford and children, Mathias, Lillian, Isaiah and Uriah; and Rick (Nicole) Kaiser of Marshfield and children, Peiton, Jagger, Brecken and Silas. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and a sister, Rose (Don) Wenzel of Stratford. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Cheryl, a sister, Anna Marie Kress and 5 brothers Norbert, Edward, Joseph, Ray and Tony Stockheimer.
