Agnes N. Forst, 94, went to be with God and her family on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Hilltop Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Milladore with Fr. John OforiDomah, officiating. Catherine Warnecke along with St. Wenceslaus Senior Choir will provide the music for the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitations will be on Tuesday at the church from 10am until time of service. Martens/Rembs Funeral Home of Junction City is assisting the family with the arrangements. Agnes was born January 21, 1920, in Milladore, WI to Matt and Anna (Bravek) Forst. She received her education at the Stepping Stone School in rural Milladore. She moved to North Chicago and worked for Abbott Laboratories for approximately 45 years, retiring in 1985. She also did some part time waitressing. After retirement she moved to Wisconsin Rapids to stay with her brother Albert, until his passing in 1998. She remained in his home until moving into Hilltop Assisted Living in 2005. She is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Forst of Marshfield, a special niece Carol (Glenn) Bring of Wisconsin Rapids and special nephew Jim (Karen) Forst, and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Albert (Saloma), Edwin (Irene), Jerry (Mary), Frank and Steve Forst; sisters Adeline (Yeoman) Fisher, and Eleanor (Bob) Schiff. Memorials may be given in her name, in lieu of flowers, to Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore or to Saint Lawrence Church, Wisconsin Rapids.
