Adella J. Reigel, 83, Marshfield, died on Thursday, March 27, 2014 in the emergency room of Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Marshfield, with Rev. Eric Berns officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until service time at Our Lady of Peace Church. Adella was born on July 27, 1930 in Marshfield, the daughter of John and Emma (Willman) Gessert and attended parochial school in Bakerville. She was united in marriage to Edward J. Reigel on August 25, 1954 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville. He died on September 1, 1994. The Reigels farmed in the Town of Spencer where Adella enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Reigel of Marshfield and Kathy (Michael) Leader of Colby. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Bradley Leader (Ashley) of Colby and Kristina Leader of Oak Dale, MN. She is further survived by 4 sisters and a brother, Bernadine Baltus, Adeline (Gerald) Meyer, all of Marshfield, Rita Hannan of Spencer, Lawrence (Mary) Gessert of Marshfield and Julie (Lawrence) Esselman of Loyal.
