I never knew I could miss someone somuch. I am so happy he came back Home before he pass! He was not suppose to die this young. But he deffinatly was not supposed to die alone in Az He spent a his last week with his Loving Family and saw a hand full of close friends. I am proud to be one of them. We were together for hours and it seemed like we never missed a beat! RIP BROTHER!

Hoese Family, I am so deeply saddened. I have been thinking about you all week. Know that you have my support (as well as MANY others). I want you to know how much Mark was loved; at one point in our friendship I considered him like family, seeing him everyday in Eau Claire, taking care of him when he needed it, enjoying his smile and laughter...I could go on and on. He will forever live in my heart and to live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.

Mark was one of my best friends. Best friend is probably an understatement. I have so many amazing memories either laughing or crying. He was ALWAYS there for me. The big brother I never had. I know he wasn't in AZ for very long but I am so thankful for the time I got to know him. He continually put a smile on my face day in and day out. And every day at work that I didn't want to be there, he made me want to be there. I'm having a hard time coming to terms that I'm not going to see or talk to him again but I know he's in a better place watching over me and his loved ones. My heart goes out to his family. He loved you guys and talked about you all the time. I'm just glad he got to see you before he left us.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear son and brother. God calls our children home to a better place, which is very hard to understand. It is his time not ours and God has a genuine purpose for Mark. He shall watch you, comfort you, and bless you until you meet again. Look to the Heavens--that most precious star is Mark shining down on you. May these blessings comfort you during this most sorrowful time. Mark shall be missed by the all lives he has touch--family, friends, mentors, and teachers. Peace be with you.

Jim & Lisa,
I am so sorry for your loss. Having lost my son Graham, 23, a little over a year ago, my heart is saddened all the more knowing another parent has lost their child. I remember having Mark in math class when I taught at Junior High, and we was just a fun-loving and congenial kid, much like my son. How the world will miss Mark's laughter and humor. He no longer struggles and is at peace, and no doubt he and Graham are whooping it up in a street game of basketball. My prayers have been with you every night. You are not alone. Janene <><

I feel so fortunate to have been able to form such a close friendship with Mark over the last year. He was a pleasure to share Packer games with, a true student of the game. I enjoyed having him over for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. He had a great sense of humor and such a big heart. I know he loved his family deeply. I've heard so much about you all I feel I know you personally. He came from such a loving home. He had ambitious dreams for the future that were cut tragically short. I will forever cherish all of the great conversation. I can't help but wonder what could have been, Yet I understand the struggle. You fought a good fight. You were a great man, a wise man, a compassionate man, a brave man. You really helped me a lot through many difficult times. THANK YOU. I'm really going to miss you Mark, You were loved by so many, My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. You know I can't say goodbye, So I will carry your memory with me until we meet again...

Hoese family,
My heart is breaking for your recent loss of your son Mark. I didn't know Mark, but if he was anything like his father he was a kind and caring young man. I can imagine all the wonderful memories that you have been able to create with Mark over the years, may those memories keep him close to you until you see him again. My thoughts and prayers are with you every day.

God Bless,

I had the privilege of getting to know Mark while in Prescott. I am saddened by the news of his death. Mark knew how to make me laugh when I didn't feel like laughing. I'm really going to miss you. You were a great guy and you were loved by so many. Thank you for sharing your son with me.
