Lonnie L. Pugh, 69, Marshfield, died on Monday, February 6, 2012 at House of the Dove Hospice Home, Marshfield.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home.

Lonnie was born on April 3, 1942 in Haywood County, Tennessee, the son of Andrew and Blanda (Peete) Pugh. He was united in marriage to Karen M. Potts on May 23, 1974. Lonnie owned and operated Pugh’s Bar-B-Que and catering until his retirement due to ill health.

He is survived by his wife, Karen and his children, Keith (Jill) Pugh of Marshfield and Kevin (Althea) Pugh of Fort Wayne, IN. He is also survived by ten grandchildren. He is further survived by his mother, Blanda Pugh of Brownsville, Tennessee and brothers, Andrew of Brownsville, TN, James Willie of Edgar, WI, and Kip of Marshfield and by sisters, Linda Pugh and Gloria Rice, both of Decatur, IL, Debra Pugh and Blanda Byers, both of Brownsville, TN, Annette Peques of Toledo, OH, and Tammy Johnson of Ripley, TN.

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Kirby, two children, Luwanda and Tony and a special niece, Chandra.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated in Lonnie’s name to the House of the Dove or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
