Sarah J. “Sally” Hetzel, 63, Marshfield, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at her home.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, Sr., her father, Vernon and brothers, James and Thomas.

Sally was born on March 19, 1948 in St. Paul, MN, to Vernon and Jeanne Byer. Sally graduated as an occupational therapist from St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul, MN, and spent most of her career with the Marshfield School District.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa and Susan and by stepsons, Ronald (Patti) and Dean (Barb) and grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Jeanne, and sisters, Anne Marie, Patrice, Joan (Greg), Mary (Chuck), Kathleen (Bill), Janet (Mike), and a brother, Robert (Jan) and their families.

A 10:30 am visitation will precede a Mass at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.
